A different approach to learning

Tailored to your child

Each lesson is tailored to your child, to make sure every lesson is engaging and interesting while pushing their learning forward.

A qualified teacher

Learn with a teacher who holds Qualified Teacher Status. I have 6+ years of experience teaching in primary schools and providing after-school tutoring, adapting the British Curriculum to meet the unique learning needs of each student.

In person and online

By tutoring both online and in-person, I am able to offer flexible tutoring services to children locally and across the UK. Working online, each session will be collaborative with an engaging use of technology to keep learning active and interesting. In person, each session will be dynamic and engaging, where they can work with other children, My classroom, both online and offline, is a safe space where children feel motivated, know that it is okay to make mistakes and can build their confidence in their learning.

Meet your tutor

Hello, I’m Ayanthi

I am a Qualified Primary Teacher with a passion for making education fun, accessible and interesting for all. I decided to create Growth Education after leaving full time teaching in 2025, as I saw a real need for different approaches to teaching in our current educational settings.

Growth Education’s aim is to provide personalised academic support that strengthens foundational skills, boosts confidence and fosters a positive attitude toward learning.

I offer in-person small group tutoring sessions and online 1-1 sessions to help children grow in their confidence across Key Stage 2. Each group will have a maximum of 4 children to ensure a balance of personal attention, peer collaboration and active participation.

I also offer daytime online sessions to children educated at home using the British Curriculum, which are interactive and tailored to each child’s learning goals.

Some of the group sessions that I run are:

  • Bridging the Gap from Year 2 to Year 3
  • Stretching your Learning in Year 4
    • English
    • Maths
  • Year 5 11+ prep
  • Year 6 SATS prep

How it works

1

Submit a message on the contact form

Send a brief message to me about your interest in online tutoring or home education and what you are looking for.

2

I will get in touch

I will reply to find a suitable time for a Zoom call or a home visit (location dependent). This is where we can further discuss your child’s tutoring needs, their goals and what I can offer.

3

Assessment

Depending on your child’s learning goals, I will send over some short assessments for your child to complete independently. If you are interested in your child attending in person small group tutoring, I can come to your home to meet you and the assessments will be done during this visit. This enables me to identify learning gaps and build a customised plan to support them.

4

Let’s get learning!

We will book a day and time to get started with your child’s learning, whether that’s as an online 1-1, joining a small online after school group or an online 1-1 daytime session.
